3D Maserati Car Cake with Working Headlights

This cake was super fun to make/play. I would have kept on turning the lights on and off for the heck of it. Light, no light, light, no light. Except I was super scared the batteries would run out or that the bulb would blow (although its LED so technically it won't right). Astro Boy Blast Off Cupcakes

Hmm, had a bit of dilemma with this one. As Astro boy has 2 different looks, the retro one and the recent movie one. Decided to go with the old school one (the half naked one), since it should be familiar.

3D Ducati Hyper Motorcycle Cake

Since this was the second 3d bike cake we made, it got easier. Also made it more stable as the previous one was a bit wobbly. This was solid and could probably be turned upside down without toppling (although we didn't try).

Girl's Generation Paparazzi + Chibi Naruto Cake

Yea, Naruto is a bit extra here. But it's 2 different people's birthday combined into 1 cake. Actually thought of making the Girl's Generation into his ecchi clone harem to integrate the 2 elements more smoothly. But then thought better of it and made the Girl's Generation the main star and made Naruto Chibi style right at the bottom of the cake. It was supposed to be  a small cake, but since I had to put so many stuff on it, made it into a 2 tier so I could have the figures pose more dynamically. 

The poses are supposed to be sexy, haha, but some turned out to be a bit 'chor lor'. During this creation, I mastered the art of making sugar hair. Their outfits are supposed to be their Paparazzi costumes where they all wear pink gloves. They have another set of outfits on their cover, but all of them in the same uniform makes them more girl band like.

Zebra Stripes Pink Bow Cake with matching Cupcakes

This customer wanted the stripes to be simple. Really like the zebra cupcake paper.

3D Jack Daniel's Whiskey Cake

I really like to make this kind of 3D cakes that don't look like cake. Well, next project is to make it upright. 

Royal British Crown Cake

This was made for one of my friends celebrating a British themed 21st party.  Actually wanted to make it simplier as it was last minute and we were already jam packed with other orders. But it can't be a British themed cake without a crown! So there. The crown really gives the oomph to the cake la.

Toy Story Alien Cake

My favourite part of this cake is the alien shaped macaron in the centre.

3D Lego Ninjago Cake

I watched this cartoon a few days before doing this cake. Okto is showing it in the evening, and I happened to catch 1 episode of it. Apparently it is like a star wars spin off, in that the bad dude is the green ninja's father. The green ninja is supposed to be the most powerful one. 
This is actually 5 cakes joined together like lego bricks. 

Hot Pink Black Lace Cake

This was free hand piping. This cake was brought all the way to Malaysia, and stayed intact, phew.

Abstract Art 2 Tier High Cake

This has officially become one of my most favourite cakes. This made me think about the irony of it; When I paint on paper, it is worthless rubbish, but when I do my art on cake, it is at least worth something, although it is shortlived (and I can't pass it down for my future generations to be rich like a Mona Lisa). I really like painted cakes. Was also inspired by Charm City cakes for the different layer height tiers which I love love love.

Vintage Blue and Gold Cake

Quite happy with how this turned out. Initially thought the tiffany blue and gold colour would clash. But it has that vintage box feel. Hope to do more vintagy cakes. The matching cupcakes completes the look. Can't tell from the pictures, but there is sparkly dust.

3D Nike Air Zoom Shoe Cake

To be honest, the idea of eating a shoe is a tad unhygienic. But I guess if you ever lose a bet with someone, this would be a great way to honor it.
